DIGITAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE SOUTHEAST NIGERIA

The study examined the effect of Digital management systems on the organizational performance of Southeast Nigeria. The specific objectives are to; examine the effect of Technology Infrastructure on the organizational performance and evaluate the effect of organizational data security on the organizational performance of Southeast Nigeria. A survey research design was adopted for the study. A structured questionnaire design with a five-point Likert scale was used to collect data for the study. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics which include simple percentages, mean and standard deviation of the measurement items. We further proceeded with chi-square analysis in other to address the hypothesis as stipulated in this study. We used SPSS 28.0 to carry out the data analysis in this study. The study revealed that Technology Infrastructure has a significant positive effect on the performance of organizations with a probability value of 0.000 (χ2 =13.71, p = 0.001) while organizational data security has a significant positive effect on the performance of organizations with a probability value of (0.000 <0.05) in southeast Nigeria. We concluded that Digital management systems have a significant effect on the organizational performance of Southeast Nigeria. We recommended that stakeholders in Southeast Nigeria should prioritize investment in telecommunications, power supply, and technology hardware. Government agencies, private sector organizations, and international partners should collaborate to improve internet connectivity, expand access to reliable power sources, and enhance the availability of technology hardware.
