This study is aimed at comparing interlocking tiles and stamped concrete for compound landscaping for the purpose of recommending a better alternative. The objective of the study is to evaluate the essential parameters for the selection of either interlocking tiles or stamped concrete for compound landscaping and to compare quality attributes between the two. This study adopted exploratory research design to achieve its objectives. Therefore, this study used literature as its survey frame, which was used in preparing a close-ended questionnaire that were piloted among the selected construction team members in Port Harcourt. The populations for this study were the Architects and builders, the population size for the architects and builders as obtained through the financial record of NIA and NIOB in Rivers state was 60 and 32 respectively, giving a total of 92. From the result of this study, a proper consideration of the functional requirement and essential parameters of interlocking tiles and stamped concrete for compound landscaping is recommended before choosing between them.
