Abstract

This study examined gender and age in risky sex behavior among Nigerian adolescents. Expo facto design was used in the study among 10863 participants (2415 males and 8448 females) with age ranging from 15-24 years. Data was sourced through the use of national demographic health survey 2018. The hypotheses were tested and Ordinary Least Square Regression (OLS) was employed in the analysis of data. The results suggest that gender and age significantly predicted risky sex behavior among Nigerian adolescents. Therefore it is important that sexuality and reproductive health education be designed for adolescents to control this ugly act
