SIGNIFICANT NEONATAL HEALTH PRACTICES THAT REQUIRE CHANGE AND ENCOURAGEMENT BASED ON THE GLOBAL BEST PRACTICES
Keywords:
Neonatal, Health, Practices, change.Abstract
The significant neonatal health practices that require change and encouragement based on the global best practices are the following: implementing Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) for premature and low birth weight infants, regular antibiotics use, early initiation of breastfeeding, overreliance on formula feeding, separation of mother and infant, and nonadherence to immunization schedules, among others. These practices have been proven to have a positive impact on neonatal health outcomes and should be prioritized for implementation in order to improve the overall health of newborns.s
