Every organization employs a high technical staff with the aim of developing their abilities and capabilities in improving the organizational output. To this effect, this research work is aimed at investigating the impact of training and empowerment of the employees’ satisfaction and development of rice processing firms in Kontagora Niger State of Nigeria. The study adopted the Ability, Mobility and Opportunity Theory (AMO) and conceptual analysis. The research took the survey research design and quantitative method for collection of data. Structured questionnaire was used as the instrument for collection of data. The population of the study includes all the rice processing firms in Kontagora Niger State Nigeria. The result of the research showed that there is negative or positive relationship between empowerment, human resource and development. The study recommends among others that; organizations should invest more on training of their employees in order to develop their skills and knowledge of the job for better performance and productivity
