Abstract

The study interrogate the link between assessment of Ngwo culture and management in Igbo traditional setting using Amadikwu Uboji Ngwo in Enugu State, South East Nigeria is motivated by the need to give possible strategies in the sense that it analyses the management system, characteristics, reflections, prescriptions and implications growing out of studies on industrialisation and human resources management. It is necessary to examine some of these findings in the light of the increasing awareness of the influence that culture, as widely claimed is capable of exerting on the management of organisations. The study will be set out to accomplish the two specific objectives from which appropriate research questions and hypotheses will be postulated. The study will adopt a survey design. The study will be conducted in 40 selected communities that are of patrilineal in 4 states; Anambra State, Enugu State, Ebonyi State and Imo State in South East Nigeria. Pearson product moment correlation coefficient will be used. The hypotheses will be tested using non-parametric statistical technique which included: Spearman’s rank order correlation and Pearson product moment correlation coefficient
