Students Attitude Toward Social Studies Scale (SASSS) was used as instrument for data collection. The reliability estimates of 0.85 was obtained for the instrument. The experimental group were taught using the number heads together instructional technique while the control group were taught same topics using presentation technique to run concurrently within the period of six weeks. The data collected were analysed with mean and standard deviation to answer the research questions, and analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) were used in testing the hypotheses formulated at .05 level of significance. The findings revealed that, there was also no interaction effect between treatment and gender on attitude of students towards Social Studies.
