Abstract

This study assesses the underground hydro - resource (H2O) characteristics from aquifers within the Aluvium Geological Formation of Akwa Ibom State, in Nigeria, West Africa, on both dry and wet season. Thus, the underground water status was assessed for its dry and wet session characteristics. It was found that the water sources from these aquifers are suitable for drinking, agriculture and industrial purposes. Also, prior to the findings, sources of pollution include among others wastes from domestic and agricultural practices, leachate from waste dumps and sewer tank
