Abstract

A vibrant marketing plays a crucial role in promoting growth and development of the Nigeria economy. The study examined the role of aggressive marketing on the Nigeria economy growth. The study employed the use of descriptive statistics while hypothesis were tested using t-test statistical tool, cronbach’s alpha coefficient test. Twenty (20) copies each of the structured questionnaires was distributed to three (3) financial marketing firms namely; zenith bank, Access Bank and UBA respectively and twenty (20) copies each to three (3) SME’s making a total of one-twenty (120) copies. The finding shows that there is a significant improvement in the success and efficiency of the Nigeria marketing system which has contributed to economic growth of the nation. The researcher recommended that working savvy must be imbibed by marketers to support the aggressive marketing competition. All efforts should be geared towards the improvement of marketing at large in the business landscape and proper monitoring of activities by both supervisors and other regulatory bodies to ensure sectorial best practice.
