Abstract

This study examined the effect of cash management on financial performance of selected banks in Nigeria. Ex Post Facto research design was adopted for the study using four selected banks in Nigeria. Data were generated from audited annual reports and accounts of theses sampled banks and the hypotheses were tested with regression analysis via E-view 9.0. The result revealed that that cash and cash equivalent has not significantly affects return on equity of banks in Nigeria. Based on the findings, it is largely recommended that enterprises set a time horizon to encourage enterprises to return to direct backing and restore the capital request function, which will lead to enterprises ’ tone-sustainable growth.
